Tesco Takes Advantage of Avacodo Spread Popularity by Packaging It

Being that avocado is one of the most popular accessories to toast, its only right that it should be made into a packaged avocado spread. British company Tesco has translated the popular health food into a replacement for butter or margarine. Comparatively, the product is a perfect substitute for those who are lactose intolerant, and would also have substantially less saturated fat and salt.

Tesco's avocado spread would also be suitable for vegans, as well as increasingly health-conscious consumers. Containing vitamins A and D as well as Omega 3, the spread has almost no salt. As Tesco reports, sales for avocados in the UK have gone up by approximately 40 per cent, "making it one of the UK’s fastest growing established fruit varieties." Being that the fruit has risen so much in popularity and consumers are consistently tracking down the next avocado recipe, the spread has all the ingredients to be a success.
