AVESTAN is one of the most mysterious fragrance brands in the market and it has opened into the New York City market. It does not advertise or sell any products online and up until now, the brand had only offered a single and untitled scent which was available at a small store in London.

AVESTAN unveils its new fragrance with the second store opening and it is inspired by the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, which is a small repository on the island of Spitsbergen. A representative from AVESTAN speaks about how the brand discloses specific notes and ingredients in two fragrances, noting "This allows for a more personal exploration of the scent. [The Svalbard] borrows aromas from the seeds, the concrete, and the Arctic environment."
