From Beginner-Friendly Oud Fragrances to Juicy Oud Perfumes
Laura McQuarrie — August 29, 2025 — Fashion
Heading into fall, oud fragrances are especially in demand as cooler temperatures call for deeper, warmer scents that offer both comfort and presence. Known for their rich, resinous intensity, oud perfumes captivate wearers with their smoky, woody complexity and luxurious depth. As a note, oud performs exceptionally well—long-lasting with strong projection—making it a favorite among those who want their fragrance to leave a memorable trail and evolve beautifully throughout the day.
At the same time, the boldness of oud can be off-putting to some, but it's being made more approachable through blends with sweet, creamy, or fruity notes that soften its edges without compromising its depth. The newest additions to Kayali’s Oudgasm Collection—Oudgasm Milky Musk Oud | 30 and Oudgasm Chocolate Oud | 11—are prime examples of this, as are Byredo's gourmand Rouge Chaotique and Boy Smells’ Peachy Oud, with notes of mimosa and candied fruits.
