Panera Bread has announced an early rollout of its autumn menu, set to launch nationwide on August 19. This venture expands the brand's seasonal offerings significantly beyond the anticipated return of its Pumpkin Spice Latte to include several new bakery items and frozen coffee beverages.
Panera Bread's autumn menu features the reintroduction of both hot and iced versions of the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte, made with espresso, foamed milk, pumpkin spice sauce, and whipped cream topped with spiced crumbles. These beverages are joined by two permanent additions to the menu — a Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee that combines richer dark roast coffee with pumpkin sauce, sweet cream cold foam, and crumbles, and a Pumpkin Spice Frozen Java, a blended frozen coffee drink finished with whipped cream and the same spiced topping. In the bakery case, Panera's chefs have crafted a Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll, which uses sweet dough filled with cinnamon and pumpkin filling and crowned with a pumpkin spice icing, as well as a Caramel Pumpkin Slice, a cake featuring pumpkin pie spices, brown sugar, vanilla, and salted caramel swirls, also topped with pumpkin spice icing. Panera's Pumpkin Cookie also returns to the autumn menu.
