Audi is set to roll out virtual reality headsets that will enable customers to sit inside a virtual vehicle and configure it to their tastes and preferences. If you thought virtual reality headsets are only good for gaming and entertainment, think again. This project proves that there is no limit to their applications.
These virtual reality headsets will be offered in Audi dealerships. They will allow customers to view the entire Audi range, and are designed to improve the experience of trying out and configuring vehicles.
Colors, materials, inlays and infotainment systems are among the aspects that customers can customize using these virtual reality headsets. Once a headset is donned, the user simply has to move their head around as if they're looking around, and the display will show them the appropriate part of the car.
