OFF-WHITE's SS19 Womenswear Boasts an Experimental Quality

Virgil Abloh debuted OFF-WHITE's athletic fashion line for Spring/Summer 2019. The womenswear collection is presented on the runway during Parish Fashion Week. The silhouettes boast a deconstructed aesthetic that marries the principles of luxury design and the dynamics of sports-oriented apparel. The result is a range of experimental designs that infuse the runway with a sense of authenticity.

For the presentation of the athletic fashion line, Abloh taps into professional athletes and supermodels. This further signifies the push for integrating sporty streetwear into the world of high-end luxury. The OFF-WHITE Spring/Summer 2019 runway was welcomed identities like Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerbeer, as well as signed Nike athletes like American sprinter English Gardner and Hong Kong high-jumper Cecilia Yeung.
