Sony introduces the trailer for its highly anticipated game for the PlayStation 5: Astro Bot. It is a 3D Mario-style game and is a sequel to the ongoing pack-in dubbed Astro's Playroom. It is set to launch officially on September 6th and the trailer showcases Astro, the adorable robo-mascot going through puddles of pink flamingos.
This is seen throughout different platforms including Bionic Commando and plays on the PlayStation 5 console to fight against a green alien in a UFO. This nods to old-school-style games. Additionally, the trailer even highlights a cameo by PaRappa the Rapper. Sony describes Astro Bot as a “supersized adventure” that takes place throughout six galaxies and players go through 80 levels to search for their crew.
