High on Life is a humorous shooter game from Squanch Games, the studio co-founded by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland. The game was originally released as an Xbox console exclusive in December 2022, but it has now surprise-launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 23, 2023. The game is available on the official PlayStation Store for $59.99.
The game follows the adventures of a high school dropout who teams up with a group of talking guns to fight against an alien cartel that wants to get high off humanity. The game features a comedic action-adventure story, colorful graphics, and bizarre characters voiced by celebrities such as Sarah Silverman, Andy Richter, and Gabourey Sidibe. The game also supports the DualSense wireless controller’s vibration function and trigger effect for PS5 players.
