The all-new Aston Martin RapidE is a concept vehicle that has been unveiled to commemorate the Chinese leadership's visit to the UK. This concept car is equipped with a fully electric powertrain in place of the V12 engine seen on the popular production Rapide S sedan. With the help of a Chinese investment group, it is hoped that a production version of a RapidE will be ready within two years.
Any production version of the RapidE would probably be available in two versions -- an RWD model with 552 brake horsepower and a 322-km range, and an all-wheel drive performance moden that would offer between 800 and 1,000 horsepower.
