Streamlined Assassin Games

Ubisoft Bordeaux Annouced Assassin's Creed: Mirage for the PS5

Ubisoft Bordeaux, the France-based division of the game publishing studio, announced Assassin's Creed: Mirage at the PlayStation Showcase 2023. Assassin's Creed: Mirage is a small, stealth-focused iteration in the multi-million dollar franchise. The company noted that, while the previous few Assassin's Creed games have focused on open-world exploration and RPG elements, Mirage will take a more streamlined approach to the gameplay the franchise is famous for.

In Assassin's Creed: Mirage, players will have smaller areas to explore with more in-depth stealth-action gameplay. The game will reportedly feature more stealth-focused mechanics than any previous title, with new ways to handle encounters when the player is detected. For example, the trailer showcases new gadgets such as smoke bombs. As one of the most popular aspects of Assassin's Creed games are the environment, Mirage is set in the city of Baghdad with lifelike visual fidelity.
