ASICS' Undropped Kit Was Developed to Keep Girls in Sports

— August 29, 2025 — Life-Stages
For many girls, discomfort is a quiet reason they drop out of sports, but the right clothing, designed for fit, function, and confidence, can help keep them in the game—and ASICS' Undropped Kit is a new school PE kit concept that aims to do just that. 64% of UK girls will drop out of sports before they turn 16, which ultimately has short-term and long-term impacts on their physical and mental well-being. ASICS worked with Sportswear, mental health charity Mind, and teenage girls across the UK to come up with a more comfortable solution they could wear while playing sports.

The redesigned kit considers different body shapes, weather conditions and personal styles with a jacket with water-repellent fabric and layerable pieces.
