The Arena da Amazonia by GMP Architekten is ready for the warm weather that will likely greet most spectators as well as players for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The stadium is located in Manaus, Brazil, and wraps around the inner field in an oval shape.
Everything about the stadium has been designed so that the air circulation is plentiful, and considering how hot it can become in this part of the world, this is an extremely important feature. Simultaneously, the building is also prepared for large downpours, which happens frequently in the area, and can seriously damage a building that isn't ready for this.
Spectators at this building are sure to enjoy themselves, thanks to the design by GMP Architekten.
