Talented creative Federico Babina is no stranger to design and his recent collection of work showcases illustrations of architectural movements as depicted through building drawings. Each building is done in a different style from Art Decto to brutalism as Babina captures the changing use of shape and form throughout the ages. The drawings come together to form the series entitled Archistyle that showcase a visual chronology of design.
Architecture often moves through different transitional stages that focus on dramatically contrasting styles. The Archistyle series showcases these movements through a repeated illustration of a building that is constantly adapted to suit the different architectural styles. For example, the Art Deco piece focuses on the use of geometric shapes in design as well as large windows and linear forms.
