Architectural Mega Heels

Mark Giuseppe Zanotti Designs

Gigantic shoe soles seem to be popping up lately. Piperlime calls it “Go Architecural” which is a pretty good description of these mega-shoes. Guiseppe Zanotti designed this madly modern footwear. Made in Italy, contrasting stitching, 6” heel, 2 1/2” platform, leather throughout. Shoes for show, for sure.

Implications - These structural pieces of footwear feed into the recent fashion fad of architectural wear. Though fashion has been focused on the human anatomy for quite some time, designers are now looking towards more extreme, extravagant structures that enhance the human form.
