The Architect Lamp may look like a classic design without much more to it, but that's because you need to look a little closer. The Architect Lamp is crafted from birch wood and every line and every surface has been meticulously planned.

Danish designer Tom Rossau does amazing work with the rather humble medium of birch wood. The Architect Lamp is his latest creation using his favorite material.

Implications - Amazingly, Tom Rossau is self-taught and started his career working in his parent's basement in. He has definitely come a long way from his basement days and has proved to be a magnificent creator and artist. You can see a picture of Rossau working on a project featured in the gallery.
