miniMonster, in collaboration with Shivoo Studios, created an augmented reality buying tool that lets buyers place life-size machining centers in their shop using a mobile device. Machinists, manufacturers, and fabricators can use it to review a 1:1 model before purchase and see how a machine fits the existing floor plan.
Starting today, the mobile experience works with supported iPhone and Android hardware and includes models such as the 'lemontart 33metal' and 'lemontart 24pico.' Users can inspect internal parts in 3D and preview add-ons like automatic tool changers before settling on a build.
Supported mobile access turns a capital-equipment review into something a shop can do on the floor instead of in a showroom. Full-scale placement also reduces a common B2B buying risk by revealing clearance and layout issues before a machine arrives.

What's Driving This Trend
- Augmented Equipment Previews
- Mobile AR visualization brings full-scale industrial assets into buyer environments, reducing uncertainty around fit, configuration, and operational readiness before purchase.
- Spatial B2B Commerce
- Immersive product evaluation expands complex sales beyond showrooms by letting teams assess high-value machinery within real workplace constraints.
- Configurable 3D Product Models
- Interactive digital twins with visible internal components and modular add-ons create new value in specification, training, and pre-installation planning.
Who This Affects Most
- Industrial Manufacturing
- Factories and fabrication shops gain more precise capital-planning tools as AR previews reveal space, workflow, and installation considerations early.
- Machine Tool Sales
- Dealers and OEMs can differentiate complex equipment offerings through immersive demonstrations that make customization and buyer validation more tangible.
- Enterprise Software
- AR-enabled sales and planning platforms are reshaping B2B procurement by connecting product visualization, floor-layout assessment, and configuration data.
