Cocktail-Ready Bar Syrups

These New Angostura Syrups Come in Two Options

These new Angostura syrups have been debuted by the bitters and rum producer as its latest creation that will help it to foray into the cocktail syrup category. The syrups come in two varieties including the Demerara Sugar Syrup alongside the Spicy Honey Syrup, which are each perfect for elevating a range of cocktail recipes with sweetness but also flavor.

The Demerara Sugar Syrup has a dark, full-bodied profile that has notes of toasted molasses and warm caramel with a touch of smoke to work well in classics like the Old Fashioned. The Spicy Honey Syrup embraces the sweet and spicy (AKA swicy) trend to offer the perfect boost to drinks like the Spicy Margarita.

Brand Manager for Mizkan America Michael Fritts spoke on the new Angostura syrups saying, "These new syrups represent a natural evolution for Angostura. Today’s bartenders and home cocktail enthusiasts want high-quality ingredients that simplify preparation without sacrificing flavour. These premium syrups make it easier to craft and elevate cocktails with the quality and taste people trust from Angostura.”
