The 'VT-Naut' is an innovative new VTOL drone whose unique capabilities actually allow it to claim the designation of 'VTOSL,' or vertical take-off and short landing. This is due to the fact that this particular drone needs very little space in order to land on a horizontal plane.
What's more, the drone's maker Aeromao has stated that the 'VT-Naut' happens to be the only fixed-wing, vertical take-off drone that is capable of landing on water. It should therefore come as no surprise that this VTOL drone is equipped with features that protect its electronic components against salt water.
This VTOL drone is capable of achieving a cruising speed of 55 km/h and a maximum speed of 85 km/h, while it is capable of flying for an hour and a half per full charge.
Priced at around $11,170, the 'VT-Naut' offers a deft combination of amphibian adaptability and short landing capabilities.
