Lenovo & Innovations in In Dementia Launched Alzheimer’s Intelligence

At Lenovo Tech World, Lenovo and Innovations in Dementia launched Alzheimer’s Intelligence, a photorealistic 3D avatar that aggregates first-hand experience and advice from hundreds of real people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The avatar with custom artificial intelligence based on the lived experiences of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s supports people and families as they navigate dementia, providing all-hours access to a conversational avatar.

Created from a composite of images of 10 people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, "Liv" has unscripted, natural conversations to provide answers and comfort at a time people and their loved ones often feel at a loss. Alzheimer’s Intelligence is currently being trialled by people with dementia in a controlled environment, and ultimately, the goal is to make the technology more publicly available in the future.
