Home Security Surveillance Drones

Ring Showcases its New Always Home Cam Drone at CES

Ring introduces the new Always Home Cam, which is a miniature surveillance drone that is designed to move around the home. It acts as a security system when homeowners are away and patrols during that time. It was recently presented at CES 2023 and showcaes how it is able to take flight.

To train the camera, users have to hold it up without obscuring the camera and walk around the house in a range of different flightpaths. From there, users are able to set multiple paths and certain waypoints. By doing this, they are able to check specific elements including if the door was left unlocked or of the stove was left on. The camera is also able to pause in the air and rotate around to analyze specific areas.
