The Alternative Apparel Spring 2012 collection has been dubbed an "Oasis of Color" and it is easy to see why. The label's Spring/Summer 2012 presentation took place during Los Angeles Fashion Week and is sure to be a hit in the City of Angels, which is known for its laid-back, bright style.
Styled by Laura Urbinati, the line featured sun-bleached hues, vibrant colors and bold patterns, making it the ultimate summer wardrobe. Some of the bolder pieces include asymmetrical maxi skirts, mesh tank tops and high-waisted mini skirts in bright shades.
The men's pieces in the Alternative Apparel Spring 2012 are a little less out there and feature classic t-shirts and shorts combos. The brand is also set to launch a nautical-inspired collection of bags and accessories, so make sure to keep an eye out for that.
