Apple has dominated in the tech industry by consistently developing computers, smartphones and other technologies that are minimalist and aesthetically pleasing in their design -- and the company may take this one step further with an all-screen iPhone.
Giving heed to rumors that were already circulating about the iPhone, Apple published a patent yesterday that may confirm an all-screen interface version of the smartphone. The patent describes the concept as "Man-machine interface for controlling access to electronic devices". The all-screen device would essentially render the bezel -- the ring surrounding the device that holds everything together -- as completely unnecessary.
As people eagerly await what new designs Apple comes out with next, most iPhones have remained relatively similar in terms of their aesthetics. This new all-screen concept could completely change this fact and revitalize excitement for upcoming iPhones.
