Alessi Giardino is both safe and whimsical, two traits every children's toy must have. The set consists of a shovel, sprinkler attachment and a pruner. Each item is shaped like something; the shovel is a snail, the pruner is a parrot and the sprinkler is a watermelon. Kids are always wanting to help their parents with whatever it is they're doing, yet parents often tell them they can't as the tools or machinery aren't made to be handled by children. Alessi Giardino would make playing in the garden safe for kids. Here's hoping the Armstrong's childish gardening set hits toy stores some time soon.
