Nokia, Intel, and T-Mobile are working together on bringing a 28 GHz outdoor commercial radio system on air with 5G connectivity in Bellevue, Washington -- the field test was conducted using Nokia's 5G commercial AIrScale solution, T-Mobile's inter-vendor 5G network, and Intel's 5G Mobile Trail Platform. The goal of this collaboration is to elevate standards of connectivity and enhance the 5G system of devices and chipsets for the best network experience that customers with no carriers can get.
The implementation of this ensures faster speeds, greater connectivity, longer battery life, faster response and high levels of reliability for users. The successful test conducted by T-Mobile, Nokia and Intel represents an accelerated step towards 5G connective commercialization and over-the-air data transmission.
