Community-Focused Logos

Airbnb Upgrades its Latest Branding Initiatives

The Airbnb upgrades to the company logo are meant to visually reflect the community that's been created through the brand. The business used Design Studio to help them come up with a new logo, ensuring that there was constant communication between the two teams.

The new logo uses the Belo symbol as a basis for its design (which is basically a more stylistic version of the letter A). According to Design Studio, one of the goals when brainstorming what the new logo would look like "was to design a marque anyone could draw – something that transcended language and formed the foundation of the new brand." This is exactly what was achieved with the new logo design, much to the appreciation of Airbnb.
