Building on its earlier 'AI Agent Packs,' KNEX is moving its Oracle software from chat-based lookup to task execution with 'AI Agentic Apps.' The apps let finance and HR teams complete full workflows within Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft, giving companies that are not moving to Oracle Fusion a way to add agentic AI without replacing core systems.
Each app centers on a 'Command Center' with a daily briefing on changes, pending work and upcoming tasks. Users can trigger actions from configurable tiles, and access remains tied to existing Oracle responsibilities, so the software works with live transaction data without opening a separate security path.
Live demos are running in Las Vegas through Oct. 28, and current Agent Pack customers can extend existing deployments with the new apps. Deployment without an upgrade or migration turns AI adoption into an overlay on long-running Oracle estates, cutting the cost and disruption of a Fusion move.

Explore the clusterWhat Makes This Trend Stand Out
- Agentic Workflow Overlays
- Legacy enterprise platforms gain new value when AI agents execute finance and HR tasks directly on top of existing systems without requiring full-scale migrations.
- Command-center Interfaces
- Centralized dashboards that combine briefings, pending work and actionable tiles create opportunities for enterprise software to shift from passive reporting to guided execution.
- Security-integrated Automation
- AI tools tied to existing user roles and permissions reduce adoption friction by allowing automation to operate within established governance structures.
Sectors Adopting This
- Enterprise Software
- Vendors serving mature ERP environments can differentiate by layering intelligent task execution onto installed systems rather than forcing cloud-suite replacements.
- Financial Operations
- Finance departments benefit from embedded AI workflows that streamline transaction-heavy processes while preserving access to live operational data.
- Human Resources Technology
- HR software ecosystems are evolving as agentic applications automate routine workforce processes inside legacy platforms without disrupting core records.
