One might be skeptical about the flexibility of a fixed-wing passenger plane, but the Aero Care Excellence has been designed for installation in that sort of aircraft. Taking the space of about three seats in economy, the system affords physicians the facilities to save patients' lives in difficult scenarios.
The clinical bed more closely resembles the type you might find in a doctor's office, rectangular and complete with drawers and cabinets for storing medical supplies underneath. One particularly unique feature of Zachary Robinson's design is the retractable bedside chair that pulls out from beneath the mattress. This enables medics or visitors to sit next to the invalid and remain secure, especially when in flight. The Aero Care Excellence makes emergency health care more accessible to remote locations by treating jets like mobile hospitals and airborne ambulances.
