Adriana Kaprálová Hauznerova's Oil Spills series provides an up close and seldom seen look at the beauty of the greasy substance. The Czech Republic-based artist has remained intent on photographing minute materials, relaying exquisite and often surprising detail in turn.
Oil Spills depicts a series of small circles. The shapes come together exquisitely as small and large halos gravitate towards one another. An assortment of purples, oranges, blues and yellows provide further emphasis, drawing in the eyes of viewers to the small scale displays. She has in this way provided a lesson in the miniscule, encouraging her fans to take in life's little wonders, the very ones that we often overlook on a daily basis.
