Curitiba, Brazil is overrun with more than 7,000 dogs on the streets and NGO Tomba Latas took to social media for its latest adoption project in order to appeal to potential new dog owners.
On Snapchat, Tomba Latas uses the platform as a way to introduce people to the personalities of rescue dogs in the hopes of changing the minds of people who want to buy rather than adopt.
To drive attention to the Snapchat account, Tomba Latas uses public posters with scannable codes that will make it easy to find the social profile. Social media is one of the most cost-effective ways that brands and non-profit organizations can share their message, all the while connecting with young and engaged generations.
