The Ultimate Retail Therapy With the adiVerse Virtual Footwear Wall

Recently unveiled at this year’s National Retail Federation’s Convention is the adiVerse Virtual Footwear Wall, a project between Intel and Adidas. Sneakerheads will no longer have to travel to, let’s say Japan, to get the hottest kicks.

This interactive wall displays up to 8,000 shoes. On this monstrous touchscreen, customers can swipe through endless collections with just a touch of their fingertips. Shoppers can also rotate it into many angles, zero in on the products, pull up info and check out what people are saying through Twitter feeds. The 3D wall is beneficial for small retail spaces, saving room from huge inventory. As a shopaholic myself, I am stoked about the adiVerse Virtual Footwear Wall.
