This West Village apartment got a serious New York'esque overhaul thanks to the innovative mind of architect Adam Kushner.

His design aesthetic brings new meaning to the idea of urban interior design by incorporating old subway parts as doors and deli cutting boards to make floors. Despite the crafty use of reclaimed materials however, the apartment is anything if not luxurious. On the second floor, Adam Kushner added a retractable roof that opens up to a terrace that is complete with a meditation pool.

The overall effect of this endlessly inventive space is a truly modern apartment that captures urban luxury using some truly unlikely materials.
