Meal-Donating Snack Bars

Act Bars Provide One Meal for Every One Sold

The Act Bars have been launched with Upcycled Foods, Inc. (UP, Inc.) as a series of socially beneficial snack bars perfect for helping consumers to curb cravings and also support those in need.

The snack bars are characterized by their Upcycled Certified, non-GMO and vegan-friendly recipe that's made with ReGrained SuperGrain+. The bar will see a meal donated for every one sold to support those who have insecure access to food. The bars also make use of upcycled ingredients to combat against the large amount of food waste that is observed every year in the US.

Co-Founder and CEO of UP, In. Dan Kurzrock spoke on the new Act Bars saying, "We're excited to partner with Act Bar and bring a sustainable and delicious snack bar to consumers that supports those in need. Our mission is to support brands in creating innovative products that are better for the planet and for people. This product brings that promise to life in an exciting new category.”
