The ABKM Manteaux de Soir Collection is Architecturally Shaped

The ABKM 'Manteaux de Soir' collection is a sculptural line of women's outerwear created by a team of second year students of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Maastricht. Evoking a theme of hygiene, the students brought a tactile brief to life, designing this collection for Innofa, a Dutch material and interiors company.

The talented young designers payed homage to iconic Fellini film, Roma and recreated abstracted forms of party inspired objects, carousels and symbolic omens. Displayed in a palette of black, white and red tones, this architectural collection defies tradition and blurs the boundaries of art and fashion.

The ABKM 'Manteaux de Soir' collection showcases sculptural garments that are a conceptual 'composition of silhouettes created though a complex manipulation of materials'.
