Felipe Pantone's 'Quick Tide' Attraction is Now Open to the Public

Greenwich Peninsula is an area in South-East London, England and is now home to the 'Quick Tide' mural walkway. Bounded by the loop of the Thames river, and between the Isle of Dogs and Silvertown, there are plans to develop a new residential and business community on the 48-acre plot.
Argentinian-Spanish artist Felipe Pantone has been commissioned to transform one of Greenwich Peninsula’s elevated walkways into an artistic experience. The journey will traverse Peninsula Square to Thames Path. The artist’s latest work is inspired partly by an earlier study on the displacement of the light spectrum and how it affects color. The exhibit incorporates a mixture of vinyl to “transform the angular shapes of the walkway.”
Pantone’s first UK project, the ‘Quick Tide’ installation, is free and will be open to the public on May 6.
