Recycled Paperboard Packaging Lines

Graphic Packaging Hss Launched Its Pacesetter Ridgeline Line

Graphic Packaging introduced PaceSetter Ridgeline, its first uncoated recycled paperboard product, expanding its recycled substrate portfolio into folding cartons and industrial applications. The board is made from 100% recycled fibre, including at least 45% post-consumer recycled content, and is produced at the company’s Texas paperboard mill.

PaceSetter Ridgeline is available in 14- to 30-point calipers and is designed for applications including folding cartons, laminations, edge protectors, tubes and cores. Graphic Packaging says its Texas facility can transition between coated and uncoated recycled paperboard while supporting sheet squareness, colour consistency, quality assurance and converting performance across high-volume production.

For brands and converters, the launch provides another recycled paperboard option backed by large-scale manufacturing capability. The product reflects growing demand for fit-for-purpose fibre packaging that combines recycled content with reliable performance across consumer and industrial uses.

Uncoated Recycled Paperboard
New substrate formats are widening recycled fibre adoption by pairing lower-impact materials with the converting performance needed for cartons, tubes, cores, and protective packaging.
Flexible Mill Production
Paperboard facilities that can shift between coated and uncoated grades create capacity advantages for brands seeking consistent quality across changing packaging requirements.
Fit-for-purpose Fibre Packaging
Material portfolios tailored to specific consumer and industrial applications are reshaping sustainable packaging away from one-size-fits-all recycled content claims.

Sectors Adopting This

Packaging
Recycled paperboard lines with scalable quality controls are creating new competitive space for fibre-based alternatives to virgin substrates and plastic packaging.
Consumer Goods
Brand owners gain broader access to recycled-content folding cartons that support sustainability targets without sacrificing shelf-ready performance or supply reliability.
Industrial Manufacturing
Demand for recycled edge protectors, laminations, tubes, and cores is expanding the role of circular materials in operational and shipping infrastructure.
