Wythe Windows is expanding localized Passive House windows through a manufacturing partnership with German building systems company Schüco Polymer. Wythe will produce Schüco’s UPVC window and door systems at its automated facility in New Jersey, combining European engineering standards with domestic production. The systems are designed to deliver high levels of airtightness, watertightness, and insulation, supporting Passive House construction that can significantly reduce heating and cooling requirements. Automated manufacturing is also intended to provide consistent quality and shorter lead times.
The partnership gives U.S. builders greater access to high-performance window systems without relying entirely on imported finished products. Domestic manufacturing could help simplify procurement and support growing demand for energy-efficient new construction and retrofits. For Wythe, working with an established global manufacturer expands its product capabilities, while Schüco gains a U.S. production partner that can adapt its technology for American building practices and projects.
