The Lamellic Collection by Twofold Concept is a collaborative project between jewelry and bag designers Barbara Katona and Vanda Berecz. Looking to origami for inspiration, the designers create geometrically shaped accessories and experiment with folded forms when constructing their pieces. When asked about their concept, the designers name "childhood memories and nature" as their main references
and reveal a series of sculptural shapes in their covetable creations.
Displayed in a palette of neutral hues, the Lamellic collection is the opposite of traditional. Its standout pieces are its folded leather totes and backpacks along with its angular earring and necklace pieces. Overall, the collection's aesthetic is mathematical and uniformed. While it does reference geometric forms, the accessory line balances rigid and organic forms.
