Gene Simmons from KISS is the latest to be added to the campaign, being touted as Dr. Love, as he promotes the new Dr. Pepper Cherry soda.
The first "Dr." to appear in the ads was Kelsey Grammar, aka Dr. Frasier Crane, followed by basketball great Julius Erving (Dr. J).
