Rhosoon Intelligent Technology recently launched a new 3D printed 5G car antennas offering high-performance communications in remote areas. The goal of the project is to support emergency services working in weak network areas or in extreme conditions.
The Chinese-based company leveraged a laser powder bed fusion system to create the 5G vehicle-mounted antennas. The new innovation is smaller and lighter than traditional car antennas and can "replace complex equipment in vehicles with better performance."
The brand is set to launch mass manufacturing to begin commercializing the 5G car antenna to both car designers and manufacturers.
