Just in time to celebrate March Madness, Outback Steakhouse has debuted a decadent new appetizer called the 3-Point Bloomin' Onion. Though the chain's original Bloomin' Onion is already an ultra-indulgent dish, the latest version takes the deep-fried appetizer to a whole new level.
The 3-Point Bloomin' Onion is a basketball-themed appetizer that is available nation-wide for a limited time. The dish itself consists of Outback Steakhouse's signature deep-fried onion appetizer, topped with Aussie Cheese Fries -- fries with chopped bacon, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese -- and cubed pieces of seasoned sirloin steak. The new combination is very similar to last year's Loaded Bloom, which also combined the Bloomin' Onion with Aussie Cheese Fries.
While not for the faint of heart, the 3-Point Bloomin' Onion is a hearty option for foodies with big appetites.
