Objects that revolve around the art of storytelling often are the most arresting since they actively stir people's imaginations and fantasies in fun and exciting ways; the 360 Collection is no exception. It is a series of unique lampshades that have been laser cut into flipbook-like designs. When the light is turned on, an ethereal puppet show-like experience is created to the delight of both children and adult.
If the 360 Collection seems at all familiar, it is because it was designed by Germany-born, Japan-based artist Yusuke Oono, whose similar creations made waves last year. 360 Collection is her latest line for Artecnica, an eco-responsible design outfit based in Los Angeles, California, and is comprised of three designs: Deep Jungle, Sweet Home and Cheese.
