Honoring Bootleg T-Shirts

032c Honors the Late Steve Jobs & Martin Margiela with a Line of Shirts

Modern culture magazine 032c launched its latest pieces for the Spring/Summer 2018 season and they celebrate the life of the late Steve Jobs and Martin Margiela. The specially made t-shirts are crafted in honor of the creative lives lost and in celebration of their legacy. In honoring Margiela, 032c crafted a long-sleeve shirt that imitates the tag design of Margiela's SS 1997 collection. The design decorates both the front and the back of the 032c design.

In celebrating Steve Jobs, 032c designed a t-shirt based off the moment that Jobs told Newsweek "Apple doesn't own me... I own me" in determining his independence. He then went off to create NeXT on his own, so the 032c shirt boasts the NeXT logo on the back, and 032c's branding on the front. Additionally, "I Own Me" is also quoted on the garment as another nod to the tech icon.
