From Fashion Marketing Hardcovers to Moroccan Fashion Films

As daughter of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola, Sofia Coppola has a tremendous name to live up. Luckily, for fans she has become an eloquent and poignant director/writer proven by just looking over her resume. Her films The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette and Somewhere are known for their gorgeous aesthetic, phenomenal soundtracks and sensitive writing.

Coppola's film skills along with her love of fashion have made her perfect combination to direct many luxury brand commercials. Coppola has shot Natalie Portman for her 'Miss Dior Cherie' campaign. And, more recently created Moroccan-themed bohemian rooftop ads for the Marni for H&M line. Not to mention, Sofia has been on the other side of lens, helping out one of her besties phenomenal fashion designer Marc Jacobs to be the face of his house's fragrance. He was even so inspired by his muse, Jacobs crafted a 'Sofia' bag for her.
