From Intestine Wreaths to Snookie Ornaments

 - Nov 30, 2011
'A Nightmare Before Christmas' isn't just a film title anymore when there is a plethora of creepy Christmas innovations oversaturating the holiday marketplace these days. From grotestgly odd and morbid home decor, the intestine wreath, to lewd, porographic oraments like an S&M Santa, companies that specialize in the festive merchandise are conjuring up shocking novelty pieces in an effort to garner more attention and to reach a younger demographic.

Who knew back in '93 that Jack Skellington's misinterpretation of the Holiday season would eventually come to fruition with Halloween-infused Christmas decorations like these zombified Christmas characters or stocking-shaped IV bags. The Disney character himself has his own line of Holiday decor, as do the cast of 'The Jersey Shore' and the supernatural ones of the 'Twilight' saga. You can even get a gold painted plop of dog poop to hang on your tree. Gone are the days when a gag gifted lump of coal under the tree was considered to be a trick worthy of some shock value. Keeping these Creepy Christmas Innovations in mind, one can only expect that the most wicked holiday decor is still to come.
