David Rockwell Designs the Tilt + Shift Collection

David Rockwell designs the Tilt + Shift Collection which is a made-to-order lighting range focused on modern aesthetics and sustainability. The collection is designed for Toronto-based brand Stackabl. The capsule was launched in Milan at Salone del Mobile at the Casa Cork installation. It is made up of two Tilt table lamps followed by three Shift floor lamps -- all of the products have soft and touch-dimmable LED lighting.

Rockwell explains, "I was instantly drawn to Stackabl’s dedication to sustainability and the craftsmanship behind their work. When I received one of their pendants as a gift, I was struck by how well the material and color palette were integrated into the design. We wanted to take that same creative approach and apply it to the Tilt and Shift lamps, using cork as the base material to create a new kind of balance and contrast with the felted wool discs. The result is a collection that feels both modern and timeless, playful yet sophisticated."
