The Alchemist Serves Drinks from an "Assassin's Teapot"

Creative cocktail bar and restaurant The Alchemist launched a new cocktail menu that takes cues from the Ming Dynasty and the way unsuspecting enemies used to be assassinated.

Perhaps one of the most interesting drinks on the menu is Pick Your Poison, a sharing cocktail that consists of two drinks: Red (Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, Cointreau, strawberry, lime and orgeat) or Blue (Mount Gay Black Barrell rum, yuzu, citrus and disco blue.) Pick Your Poison is served in an "assassin's teapot," and this trick teapot has two separate compartments that change where the liquid is dispensed from based on where the pourer's fingers are placed.

This experiential cocktail infuses late-night drinking occasions with more fun and helps people indulge in historic drinking traditions without the deadly consequences.
