The TCL K1 smart door knob is a modernized take on the humble doorknob that's enhanced with a variety of technologies to help maximize security. The knob works by being installed at any interior door where a dead bolt either isn't present or roughed in to provide security without having to perform any lengthy installation. The knob is packed with four methods of access including biometric security thanks to a built-in fingerprint scanner on the handle alongside PIN code access, through the accompanying mobile app or with a physical key.
The TCL K1 smart door knob is powered by four AAA batteries that are rated to support up to 12 months of use before needing to be replaced or recharged.
