En Temps Et Lieu Studio Designs a Stunning Installation

Stéphanie Leduc and Manuel Baumann of EN TEMPS ET LIEU studio have been commissioned to deliver a stunning suspended lighting installation titled 'UN BRIN D’SOLEIL.' This project was selected as the winner of Société de développement de l’Avenue du Mont-Royal’s request for proposals.

The suspended lighting installation is composed of numerous radiating tubes constructed from aluminum and acrylic, each embedded with programmable LED lighting capable of creating dynamic color sequences and patterns. The conceptual description likens the artwork to a stylized sun or flower, intended to serve as a vibrant visual counterpoint to the gray winter landscape and evoke themes of warmth and seasonal transition.

UN BRIN D’SOLEIL is suspended above a public square on Mont-Royal Avenue in Montreal for the winter season, with plans for annual reinstallation over several years.
