The Subway Footlong Cookie is Now a Permanent Menu Item

The Subway Footlong Cookie was first offered by the brand for National Cookie Day in 2022 and the brand is bringing it back once again this year, but with an attention to longevity in mind. The footlong treat is being added to the brand's permanent menu to help diners enjoy it at their leisure anytime of day or as a dessert with their favorite sandwich. Patrons will be able to start picking up the cookie at participating locations starting next month, but it will be available for free with any footlong sub purchase on December 4, 2023 from 1pm to 6pm at select locations.

Senior Vice President, Culinary and Innovation Paul Fabre spoke on the Subway Footlong Cookie saying, "The overwhelming response we received from fans around the country last year let us know that we needed to make the footlong cookie a permanent addition to our menu. At Cookieway this year, our guests will get a sneak peek of an even better footlong cookie: thick, gooey, packed with chocolate chips and served warm – right out of the oven. It’s the perfect pairing with your favorite footlong sub and may even become your favorite footlong after the first bite."
