The ST2 Pinion from Stromer Features a 750-Watt Rear-Hub Motor

Stromer launched the 'ST2 Pinion,' the highly-anticipated sequel to the ST2 Belt e-bike from the Swiss manufacturer. The ST2 Pinion features upgraded internal components from the Belt, as well as the shift to an internally-housed six-speed Pinion gearbox, which makes for a more weather-resistant frame, as well as a more sleek image.

The ST2 Pinion is powered by a rear-hub motor with a peak power output of 750 watts. This motor is supplied by a 655-Wh battery pack that results in a maximum range of 120 kilometers per charge, and a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour. In miles, this equals to 28Mph and a range of 75 miles. Additionally, the company offers a range-extended battery pack with a range of 180km or 113 miles.

The bike will be available in April in the Electric Green colorway with additional colorways coming soon after, including Dark Gray and Moon Ray.
